Who Buys My Food?

Find out more about your customers and how to increase sales

The courses will look at the challenges producers face trying to add value and increase sales of their product, and how to stand out from the crowd!!

This information is relevant for ALL producers

  • find out not only who already buys your product but who might buy
  • ideas and suggestions on how to increase sales
  • the data comes from a panel of 1.4 million supermarket shoppers which represent 40% of UK households so it can help you whether you are selling at farmers markets, to any type of retailer or online.

Who buys which products, my products or the products I want to introduce?

  • Am I targeting the right market?
  • Does my packaging convey the right message?
  • Am I pricing the product appropriately?

What else are shoppers buying with my products?

  • Can I combine my products with something else they would like?
  • Can I think of attractive joint promotional offers?

Where do my shoppers live?

  • Where should I target mail shots to save time and money in the process?

Are my products being sold in the right place?

  • Do I have the right geographical location?
  • Could I sell more direct to consumers, on-line, through local markets or farm shops?  
    This course will help you to:
    - Understand shopper behaviour, helping you to increase sales

The will be 2 courses run on Friday April the 9th and Friday April the 30th at Lenham Community Centre.

Registration from 9.30 – Start at 10.00am sharp
Lunch will be provided – please advise any special dietary requirements
