2007 Winners

Food and drink producers from across Kent were rewarded for their excellence after being crowned winners in the prestigious 2007 Taste of Kent Awards.

Members of the public submitted thousands of nominations with the top three in each of the 11 categories making it to the shortlist.

The panel of judges was left with the tough task of choosing the winners, who were announced at a special dinner that took place on Wednesday, February 27, at Eastwell Manor near Ashford.

Produced in Kent's Chairman Richard Long said: "This year's Taste of Kent Awards have been a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and highlight the huge range of quality food and drink we are fortunate to have in Kent.

"Reaching the final is a major achievement in itself for the producers and winning is the crowning glory but it is the public who should be celebrating as well, as we have such a high standard of food and drink right here on our doorsteps."
