Create a Summer Fruit and Veg Masterpiece

Face MasterpieceEating lots of fresh fruit and vegetables makes you healthier and feel great! Now Produced in Kent is giving you the chance to WIN some FANTASTIC PRIZES and be an art champ in its Create a Summer Fruit & Veg Masterpiece Competition.

HOW TO ENTER?
You can make your Summer Fruit & Veg Masterpiece in a number of ways either:

Your picture can be a fruit ‘n veg face, a fruit ‘n veg landscape, a bowl of fruit ‘n veg or anything else you manage to dream up.

Produced in Kent only wants you to depict or use fruits and vegetables that are grown by farmers in Kent during the summer months of June, July and August – so no bananas, pineapples and tropical fruit! Click here for some helpful clues!

Either take a photograph of your masterpiece and email to events@producedinkent.co.uk or post your drawing/painting/collage to ‘Create a Summer Fruit & Veg Masterpiece’ Competition, Produced in Kent, Bourne Grange Stables, Tonbridge Road, Hadlow, Tonbridge, Kent TN11 0AU.

Fruit Balloons by Carl Warner

 

1st Prize - the winner will be awarded this stunning signed and framed photographic ‘Foodscape’ called ‘Fruit Balloons’ to hang on their wall, which has been created by TV’s celebrity photographer Carl Warner. You will also be awarded a Winner’s Certificate and a £50 voucher for art materials from Great Art www.greatart.co.uk

Nine Highly Commended Prizes
Each will receive a ‘Highly Commended’
certificate and a fantastic White Nights Paintbox‘White Nights’
12 pan watercolour box, so you can carry on painting !

 




RULES OF ENTRY

-You should be of primary school age (from Reception through to Year 6)
-Your piece of art, collage or fruit/veg picture should be entirely your own work (but parents and teachers can help you find out which fruit and vegetables are grown in Kent in the Summer and can also help you submit your entry to Produced in Kent)
-Children should clearly indicate the following information with their entry (again ask for help from your parents or teachers if you need to:

Full name
School year group
The name of your school
Age at time of entry
*Contact telephone number
*Email address

*(Private & Confidential: This information will ONLY be used to contact the ten winners of the competition and will not be passed on to a third party)

The judges’ decision is final and the judging panel includes: TV’s ‘foodscape’ photographer Carl Warner, Produced in Kent’s manager Julie Monkman and WAC PR & Marketing’s director Sarah Orton. The judges will be take into account the age of each child when considering each entry.

Carl Warner will present the ten winners with their prizes and certificates on the Produced in Kent stand at the Food & Drink Festival in Canterbury on Saturday 26 September.
