The Mount Vineyard

The unique micro-climate of the Darent Valley produces vintages that will tell you a story that you cannot find anywhere else. Just a stone’s throw from London, we welcome you to discover The Mount, situated in the idyllic village of Shoreham in Kent.

The Mount is proud to work with some of the best producers in Kent and the UK. Join us to try our award-winning wines and enjoy some of the finest produce Kent has to offer. With our fully retractable roof letting the sunlight in or keeping you dry from the spring showers, our all-weather Courtyard restaurant is your perfect mini-escape.

Wine tasting in Kent is a wonderful activity all year round. Cosy up next to the log burner in our tasting room in the winter or enjoy an al-fresco tasting experience on our oak terrace in the summer months. Tastings take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 12:30 and 14:30, lasting approximately an hour and a half and costing £35 per person. From the end of May to the end of September, we offer a 16:30 tasting which includes a tour of the vineyard and costs £40 per person.

And before you head home pop into Ten Acres ~ The Shop. our tractor shed converted to our beautiful boutique offering Mount Vineyard wines, local luxury goods and perfect gifts.
