Hush Heath Estate is a family owned business, famous for producing Balfour Brut Rosé one of the most iconic and exclusive English sparkling wines, using traditional Champagne methods and grape varieties. All our Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes are grown on the Estate, handpicked, and blended in our state of the art Winery.
The Estate’s 400 acres, hidden away in the Weald of Kent, is one of the most beautiful wine Estates in the country with a Tudor Manor House built in 1503, surrounded by our vineyards, apple orchards and ancient oak woodlands.
Balfour Brut Rosé, is served on board British Airways first class, exclusively on the Orient Express and in many of the best London restaurants, bars and hotels. Balfour was also the only English sparkling wine to be served at the London Olympics 2012.
Last year as our production began to grow, we commenced exports to Hong Kong, Finland and Kenya and we are now looking to expand our export markets further. To help our export drive into other European markets we are exhibiting for the first time at Prowein in Dusseldorf in March 2014. This is one of the largest European wine exhibitions. We are also working closely with Enterprise Europe Network and the UK Department of Trade and Industry.
An exciting and successful Tourist attraction, Hush Heath has a friendly and passionate team who enjoy welcoming guests and sharing with them their extensive knowledge of viticulture, wine making and tutored tastings.
Self -guided tours and tastings are free and available without booking, Open 7 Days a week, 11am to 5pm, including bank holidays, all year round.
Visitors can also book guided tours and tastings, led by our winery experts. These are for a minimum of 6 people at £15 per person, and must be pre booked. They can be arranged 7 days per week.
