Bore Place is a study centre and 500-acre organic dairy farm committed to exploring how to live and work more sustainably and co-operatively through hands-on learning. Local food and farming are at the heart of our education programmes and social enterprises.
Within easy reach of London and the M25, Bore Place Conference and Study Centre offers a peaceful and creative environment for professional and personal development.
You can take part in our education programmes or come to develop your own work. You are also welcome to hire the spaces for holidays and retreats, or visit on one of our public workshop or open days.
The site comprises a variety of historical buildings surrounded by beautiful organic gardens, sustainably managed woodlands and ponds. We can accommodate from 2-46 residents and up to 100 day visitors, and offer warm, bright, spacious rooms and highly equipped meeting spaces.
Our chef produces delicious home-cooked meals using sustainably sourced organic and local food, including ingredients from the farm and gardens.
We have wood-chip, solar thermal, solar PV and wind installations to help power and fuel the centre.
