Fox & Bloom

With Biology being one of my favourite subjects at school, I later studied Applied Biology, where I continued my appreciation of nature and all living things.

After having two wonderful children, Jack and Emily, I decided to teach part time and found that I had time on my hands to spend doing something for me.

Making cold process soap became just that, I was hooked after making my first batch. Experimenting and learning how to make other products, using the same natural ingredients I use in my soaps, seemed like a natural progression .

From the start it was very important to me that all of Fox & Bloom’s products were made with only natural ingredients. Using the most beneficial, * local and sustainably sourced ingredients, containing no palm oil, **micas, synthetic colour, fragrances, parabens or SLS.

It gives me a great sense of fulfillment to be able to walk to my local farm to collect the goat’s milk I use in my vegetarian soaps, as well as using my home grown aloe vera and locally sourced Kentish honey. Using goat’s milk, honey, aloe vera and cucumber help to balance out the PH in our handmade soaps, to ensure a soap that not only cleans but keeps skin feeling soft and moisturised.
