The whole family can enjoy a Baa-rilliant May Half Term at Kent Life between 25 and 31 May 2019.
Visitors can enjoy animal themed activities at half term including the entertaining Sheep Show which will take place every day at 11.30, 1.30 and 3.30pm. The New Zealand style team of presenters educate and entertain with their fantastic sheep all over the country. ‘Nobby’ the Norfolk Horn stands centre stage while others are introduced to their podiums. We learn about each breeds attributes and how wool from the sheep’s back becomes a jumper to wear. The shearing demonstration is well commentated and has the audience captivated.
Everyone can also enjoy all the regular activities at this popular working farm including taking a fun farm ride and getting close to real farm animals, including the smaller residents in Cuddle Corner. Have fun on the wooden hunt and enjoy a sweet treat once the task is completed.
Children can spend hours exploring all the indoor and outdoor play areas and have fun on the bouncy castle before stepping back in time with a visit to the Vintage Village where everyone can explore the restored Village Hall, the Granary, the Oast House, traditional Hoppers’ Huts, and the working blacksmith’s forge.
Visit the owls at the Owl Academy, which are residents at Kent Life. Also watch thrilling live displays during half term and see the meerkats in their enclosure: Shilo, Fuggle, Sugar and Spice.
For a small charge take a ride on one of the delightful donkeys at Kent Life or get arty in the Paint-a-Pot Studio.
Visit Dotty’s Tea Room with a great selection of homemade cakes and other tasty meals and snacks or enjoy a pizza from the special wood-fired pizza oven in the Pizza Garden.
