For foodies either residing in or visiting Canterbury, September is a time for delicious treats, artisan produce and gastronomy. Centred around the Canterbury Food & Drink Festival, Kent’s largest and most highly-anticipated celebration of food, drink and culture, it is the ultimate showcase for the thriving cathedral city’s culinary scene, and the county as a whole for that matter.
An extended programme of events for 2018 means there is so much more to get involved with. Before the Food & Drink Festival descends on Dane John Gardens (21st-23rd September), various culinary destinations around the city will be host to our latest addition, the Urban Food Tour.
Starting on Friday 14th September, it’s an extension of the Canterbury Food & Drink Festival, offering a diverse a series of workshops, taster sessions and foraging expeditions catering to different levels of expertise and age groups.
