Bake up a delicious chocolatey storm and find out all about Fairtrade, in time for Fairtrade Fortnight. Children will make delicious Fairtrade chocolate and banana muffins and fabulously fun Fairtrade chocolate cow cookies before going out to meet our real herd of dairy cows to find out about our organic system too.
This activity is best suited to children aged 7-12 years, all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the session.
For the baking activity children will be working in pairs then sharing what they have made to take home.
A second pair of outside shoes or ideally wellington boots must be brought for use on the farm tour.
Allergy and dietary information must be provided at least a week before the workshop to ensure it is catered for.
