Come and join us for Firkins at Full Moon on GOOD FRIDAY and what better way to celebrate than with all family, as this month we welcome Lesley from the Arkwrights to host our first ever Family Clog/Stepping Workshop at Goody Ales!! So come along and try out some percussive style dancing from the North of England & beyond…an afternoon of fun, exercise and lovely tunes.
The Family Clog/Step Workshop will take place on Friday 19th April, bar will be open from 4pm and the dancing will start from 5pm priced at £2 per person / £5 per family. Make sure you wear comfy shoes, tap shoes / clogs if you have them (they will be some spares). Our BBQ will be serving delicious local produce from 5.30pm, other hot food including vegetarian options will also be available.
…& there’s more!!! This will be followed by Firkins at Full Moon from 6pm-10pm, The Arkwrights will perform Traditional English, Irish and Appalachian music. Acoustic music to be enjoyed while catching up with friends and sampling an ale or two! The band is based in South Kent and have a busy calendar already to perform at local events, festivals and can be spotted busking too! Come along and enjoy toe tapping tunes some accompanied by Lesley’s quick feet and rhythmic solo step/clog dancing from the British Isles and beyond.
