Saturday 16th June, 11am – 5pm
Join us on Saturday 16th June 2018 (11am – 5pm) for our fourth annual show celebrating hen-keeping in the home garden.
A celebration of self-sufficiency and smallholding in Sevenoaks will cast chickens firmly in the spotlight this year with talks by Francine Raymond from The Telegraph. Francine is the author of 15 books on hen-keeping.
The event will be held in the grounds of Great Comp Garden in Platt and will feature the most innovative chicken houses on the market, poultry food, hatching eggs and bird sellers.
We are pleased to also welcome Una McFarlane to our 2018 Hens & Gardens event. Una is a Veterinarian who has a special interest in poultry medicine, and will be available to provide general advice.
The Old Dairy Tearoom on site will be offering special lunches and teas.
Usual admission fees apply: £8/£7 Adult/Concession, £3 Children (6-17). Free for Great Comp Garden annual pass holders. 20% day entry discount for RHS members (individual, member 1 for joint membership and both for life members).
