KENTISH PIP AND THE CIDEROLOGIST PRESENT CRAFT CIDER
What’s happening? We are throwing open our doors for all you intrepid cider explorers to come and see where the magic happens. There’ll be apple pressing, a tour of the cidery (yes that’s a word…) and tank tasting.
On top of all that, we will be joined by none other than Gabe Cook himself – The Ciderologist. Cutting his teeth in Hereford before heading off to totally immerse himself in cider for the greater good, as far away as New Zealand (via winemaking too). Gabe will forget more than I’ll ever know and we’re excited to have him down with us following the release of his acclaimed book Ciderology.
Following all this there’ll be a good old fashioned knees up to end the evening with freshly cooked hot food from Tayberry Foods, Music, a bar and Mulled Cider all night. Wassail!

18:00: Cidery tour including:
– Pressing demo and fresh juice tasting
– Overview of fermentation
– Sample different base ciders direct from our tanks
– Overview of blending and packaging
19:30: Tasting and talk from Gabe Cook aka The Ciderologist
20:00 – 23:00: Music, food and drinks
