Classic Cars, Summer Sunshine and Historic Surroundings at Hever Castle's Summer Showcase

The sights, sounds and stories of motoring history will take centre stage at Hever Castle this summer as Cars at the Castle: Summer Showcase on Sunday 2^nd August.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Anne Boleyn's childhood home, the event will bring together an impressive collection of classic, vintage and sports cars, offering visitors a unique opportunity to admire beautifully maintained vehicles in one of Kent's most picturesque settings.

From cherished classics that evoke memories of a bygone era to sleek sports cars that continue to turn heads, the Summer Showcase celebrates the passion and craftsmanship that make these vehicles so special. Car clubs from across the South East will be gathering on the Castle grounds, with owners on hand throughout the day to share stories, answer questions and talk about their pride and joy.

Visitors can explore car displays located throughout the grounds from 10.30am to 4pm, creating a vibrant showcase of automotive heritage against the backdrop of the Castle and its award-winning gardens. As some exhibitors may leave before the end of the day, visitors are encouraged to arrive early to make the most of the displays.

Adding to the experience, The Signature Store will be located on Half Moon Lawn throughout the day, offering a selection of signed memorabilia for collectors and enthusiasts to browse.

Whether you're a dedicated motoring enthusiast, a classic car owner or simply looking for a memorable family day out, there's plenty to discover. Wander among rows of stunning vehicles, enjoy conversations with fellow enthusiasts and soak up the unique atmosphere that comes from combining automotive excellence with one of England's most treasured historic settings.

Included with normal admission to Hever Castle & Gardens, Cars at the Castle: Summer Showcase offers visitors the chance to enjoy not only the impressive vehicle displays, but also the Castle's beautiful gardens, historic interiors and family attractions.

Event Highlights

• Classic, vintage and sports car displays throughout the grounds

Families can also enjoy the Water Maze, perfect for cooling off and letting off steam, alongside the Tudor Towers adventure playground for climbing and exploring, and Acorn Dell, a natural play area with tunnels, structures, and a giant sandpit for imaginative play.

Visitors can complete their day with seasonal home-cooked food and cakes in the restaurant, a picnic in the grounds, or browsing gifts, plants, and homeware in the Hever Shops.
