Firkins at Full Moon in October

Just a reminder that on Friday 18th October, for Firkins at Full Moon we have a great treat lined up for you. Five fabulous females called THE FIGUREHEADS, a sea shanty group promise to amuse and entertain you with some great nautical songs. Please see attached. Firkins at Full Moon in October celebrates The Hunter's moon, October being the preferred month to hunt summer-fattened deer and fox who are unable to hide in bare fields. This moon is also particularly bright and long in the sky, giving hunters the opportunity to stalk prey at night. Other names include the travel moon and the dying grass moon.

The Cathedral bar is open as usual, 4-7pm weekdays and 10am-6pm Saturdays.  Children are very welcome, there is plenty of space for them to enjoy themselves but we would like to remind you that you will be responsible for supervising them at all times.  We do not permit any other drinks or food onto the premises.  We are also open for takeaway and deliveries. The brewery bar/shop is open weekdays 4pm - 7pm and Saturdays 10am – 6pm.
