8th-8th March 2026
Cornucopia, High Street, Tenterden, UK
Cornucopia Bottle Shop & Tasting Room in Tenterden is hosting a special Meet the Maker wine tasting on Sunday 8 March, bringing together wines from Sussex and South Africa for an afternoon of stories, tasting and conversation.
Guests will have the chance to meet the winemaker behind Tidebrook Wines in Sussex and Jordan Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, discovering how two very different wine regions are connected through one winemaker’s craft.
This guided tasting offers a rare opportunity to explore wines from two hemispheres side by side. From the rolling vineyards of Sussex to the renowned wine region of Stellenbosch in South Africa, the wines share a common thread — the same hands behind their creation.
During the tasting, guests will hear the stories behind each wine, learning about the vineyards, the winemaking process and the inspiration behind the bottles.
The afternoon will be relaxed and informal, hosted in the welcoming setting of Cornucopia Bottle Shop & Tasting Room on Tenterden High Street.
A guided tasting will introduce a selection of wines from both Tidebrook and Jordan Wine Estate, paired with a range of South African nibbles designed to complement the wines and bring the flavours of Stellenbosch to the table.
It’s a chance to slow down, enjoy a thoughtful tasting and hear directly from the winemaker about the journey behind the wines.
Cornucopia has become a destination in Kent for people who enjoy discovering interesting wines, meeting producers and taking part in intimate tasting events.
Meet the Maker evenings and afternoons are particularly popular, offering direct insight from the people behind the bottles and a chance to explore wines with context and conversation.
