Pizza & Pipistrelles Night (for two) at Bore Place

Bring a friend and join us for a relaxed summer evening at Bore Place, where you’ll learn about bats, enjoy a delicious farm-made pizza, and watch these fascinating creatures emerge at dusk. This year marks 50 years of Bore Place being a place to connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors - what better way to celebrate our anniversary than with a night of pizza and bats?

The evening begins with a short talk introducing you to the nocturnal lives of bats and how to use bat detectors. You'll collect your freshly made pizza to share - crafted with organic ingredients from our farm - and find a cosy spot in the garden of our historic manor house. Bring your camping chairs or a blanket, and enjoy your pizza as the sun sets. As darkness falls, watch the bats emerge for the evening, and use your bat detector to listen in on their ultrasonic calls as they flit through the evening sky.
