Ramsgate Through the Senses features a fantastic array of activities and experiences, brought to you by brilliant chefs, artists, and practitioners, guaranteed to activate the senses and inspire the soul!

Events include...

Friday 18th March:

* 'Four x Four' Opening Night Dinner at Royal Harbour Brasserie from 7.00pm - 10.30pm.

A unique opportunity to sample signature dishes by four of Thanet’s premiere chefs – Harbour Brasserie’s own Adrian Mowl, Marc Campos of Marc-Pierre’s Kitchen, Bruce Stratford and Jessica Leah. Each dish is designed to celebrate local produce and will be paired with a Kent beverage by Clive Barlow MW. As this is a set menu designed to showcase a range of Kent produce, we are unable to offer substitutions other than a vegetarian option for the meat course. Saturday 19th March:

* Massage with Georgia Brown to ease you into your weekend (10am-4pm Granville Marina)
* The Snottledogs – daytime fun for families and an evening of rollicking good songs at The Queens Head.
* East Kent Rock Choir – pop-up at Ramsgate Obelisk (2pm)
* Pale Blue Dot Collective - microscopic exploration of beach finds (2.30pm-4pm Ramsgate Tunnels)
* Melanie King - talk and demonstration using seaweed to develop her photography (2pm-4pm Royal Temple Yacht Club)
* In The Dark - food, wine and sound but not as you know it! Dining in the Dark has been described as an‘amplified’ way to enjoy food. Hosted by chef Bruce Stratford and Clive Barlow MW at a private residence in Ramsgate (7pm-10pm) Dining in the Dark has been described as an‘amplified’ way to enjoy food. This special event promises to take your senses to a whole new level, with darkened surroundings that leave just you, your taste buds, and your sense of smell to enjoy a dining experience with a difference.

Sunday 20th March:

* ‘Dredgerman’s Breakfast’ to kick-start your Sunday at Marc-Pierre’s Kitchen (9.30-11.30 am)
* Reiki Healing Meditation to really relax with Diana Cox (10am–4pm, Granville Marina)
* Gong Bath with Bettina Ji - an immersive experience!(10am-11 am Royal Yacht Club)
* Educational Foraging Walk with Nick Robinson: to pick or not to pick ? That is the question…from 10am - location TBC.
* Treasure Hunt and Cooking Demo with Mick Spackman (11am-12.30pm, Newington Community Centre)
* ‘Making Sense of Smell’ - talk and demonstration by Hantverk and Found’s chef Kate De Syllas (11.30am-12.30pm, Royal Yacht Club)
* Shake it Out with Sylvia Tilliman (2pm-3.30pm, Royal Yacht Club)
* A guided Detectorist Walk on the beach with Sylvie Bolioli (meet at Ramsgate Tunnels 2.30pm-4pm)
* Shaking it Out – TRE Therapy – Tension Stress & Trauma Relief session from local practitioner Sylvia Tillmann
