Of course we hope to find reptiles, but please bear in mind that this is a scientific survey monitoring the species onsite, so sometimes we don't find anything! You will learn ID skills to recognise UK native reptiles such as slow worm, common lizard and grass snake, as well as information about their ecology and where to look for these species.

This session is suitable for beginners as well as enthusiasts! The walk will be led by Heather Clayson, our Citizen Science and Nature Programmes Coordinator, who has a background in professional ecology surveying including reptiles, amphibians, and other native UK species.

Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy boots/wellies. Feel free to bring a flask!

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Sorry no dogs.
