11th-11th September 2022
The UK is home to at least 50 species of native trees and shrubs, along with many more introduced non-native trees.
Bore Place, Bore Place Road, Chiddingstone, Edenbridge, Kent TN8 7AR, UK
Led by John Waller, Bore Place's resident woodsman, this leisurely walk (approx 1-2 miles) will look at some of the trees on the Bore Place estate whilst they are in leaf. You will learn some general ID skills, along with ways to understand how the trees are related and grouped.
John is our resident woodland expert, he runs the Green Wood Workshop at Bore Place (Underwoodsman Ltd) and sustainably manages the woodlands onsite.
