We often only catch a glimpse before they've disappeared into the undergrowth, but living in burrows and nests, there are mice, voles, shrews and other small, furry creatures that form an important part of our ecosystem.

This session will be led by Heather Clayson, our Citizen Science and Nature Programmes Coordinator, who has a background in professional ecology surveying including a range of mammal species and holds a dormouse survey licence.
Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy boots/wellies. Feel free to bring a flask!
Please be aware that the timings for this event are a guide, and will be led by interest and what's found on the day!
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
