February has been a month full of new designs and materials for Goossens Bags.
There are the new oilcloth bags with two pockets on the outside that are getting a lot of attention in my etsy shop, GoossensBags.etsy.com.
Then we have the new fanny packs, great for festivals, dog walking, holidays or just daily use. They are available in the faux leather, you can combine any colour I have in stock.
I have always had a deep interest in sustainable living and I’m trying to integrate this even more into my business. The first fanny pack was made out of an old pair of jeans from my little boy with recycled sari fabric for pocket detail and lining. So here was my first upcycled bag ready to be put out to social media and to be added to my collection in my etsy shop.
Next step was those old inner tubes from our bikes… I turned them into coin purses and the response on social media has been enormously positive.
