Asparagus Update from Groombridge Farm Shop

The warmer weather is certainly a welcome change, and means our asparagus season is fast approaching, with the asparagus beds waking up earlier than usual.

Our excitement is tempered by the cool nights; however, we begin to see a few spears emerging, and we expect to be cutting in earnest in around two weeks. We must now hope for some rain for the upcoming crop.
