Award-Winning and Raising the Bar: A Big Month for The Cotton Mill

Gravesend and Darent Valley's CAMRA Pub of the Year has a book out, an award to collect, and a celebration evening to look forward to

It has been quite a March for The Cotton Mill micropub in Swanley. The team launched "Raising the Bar", a book telling the story of the beloved local, and received the news that they have been named CAMRA's Pub of the Year for the Gravesend and Darent Valley region. Two enormous milestones for an independent micropub that has clearly made its mark on the Kent drinks scene.

Now they're celebrating in style. CAMRA will join The Cotton Mill on Thursday 24th April from 7pm to formally present the award, with live music from the talented Victoria Bass setting the tone for what promises to be a memorable evening. It's the kind of night that reminds you why great local pubs matter.

Whether you're a regular or visiting for the first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to raise a glass to one of Kent's finest.
