Biddenden get GOLD at English Wine Awards!
We are delighted to announce that Biddenden’s Gamay Noir 2022 has been awarded a Gold award in the Independent English Wine Awards
Celebrating the very best of English wines, there were over 100 entries into the competition, and our Gamay was voted the top red wine for 2023.
As described by the IEWA Chair, “For me this was the highlight of the whole competition, not just because its light, juicy, fruity style was so enjoyable, but because it points to a style that I think many more English winemakers should be aiming for. Super fun and friendly wine. I will buy lots of this wine this summer."
