Biddenden Schönburger 2021 released
The first of Biddenden’s 2021 vintages, the release of Biddenden Schönburger 2021 signals the return of this popular sweet wine.
Produced using late harvest Schönburger grapes, which have been left on the vine to develop higher natural sugars. The varietal flavours really shine through, with notes of lychee, honey & elderflower.
As with all of Biddenden’s wines, all of the grapes are grown on the 23 acre estate, before being pressed, fermented and bottled on site. The majority of Biddenden’s 2021 has now been bottled, with Ortega, Gribble Bridge White and Huxelrebe all having been bottled this week. These will be released after spending a couple of months developing in bottle, in late spring/early summer.
