Biddenden Schönburger Awarded 88 Points in the Tim Atkin MW 2022 Special English Wine Report

After tasting over 300 wines, English wine expert Tom Hewson awarded this single varietal sweet fruity wine an amazing 88 points.

Of the 2021 Schönburger Tom says “Estate- grown fruit in the Kent Weald. Pale, with super bright pear, Muscat grape and blossom aromas. Very sweet confected pear drop notes, light and fragrant.”

Light blush in colour, this sweet wine is made with late harvest grapes which have been left on the vine to develop higher natural sugars. Flavours of honey, lychee and elderflower adorn this lusciously rich white wine.
