Beginner or advanced come and learn some of wonky grower Laura Brady's top tips and tricks and become a master of maximising your own growing area (big or small) to produce vast quantities of your favourite veg year round! We will discuss seeds, soil and spacing and everything in-between. You will leave us feeling like Monty Don!

As well as each specific topics, every session we will also propagate seeds for you to take home and grow in your own patch. Discuss what jobs you should be getting on with, what seeds you should be planting out or sowing in the greenhouse /window sill, as well as which pests and diseases to keep an eye out for!

Each session runs for 3 hours and includes tea, coffee and homemade cake in our new Riverside dining area. You also receive 20% off any size veg box that will be collected on the day of your course; pre order is essential via email thewonkyparsnip@gmail.com

Session one

Soil health and compost, seed bed preparation, seed and variety selection, design and planning, raising seedlings and direct seeding

Session two

Planting out seedlings, growing vertical and tubs, weeds, pests and diseases, crop rotation, unusual variety's

Session 3 Plant maintenance, maximising harvest, succession sowing, clear and replant beds

Max 8 people per group (age 14+ )

£30 a session or 3 sessions for £80

We will be running them across either 3 Saturdays and 3 Mondays Mondays - 20th May, 10th June, 1st July Saturdays - 18th May, 8th June, 29th June
