Canterbury Ales and The Unicorn

11th August 2021

Canterbury Ales & The Unicorn Inn join forces to raise money for local charity

In celebration of their 10th anniversary the Canterbury Ales brewery is teaming up with the Unicorn Inn to bring an afternoon of music, food and ale in support of the charity 21 Together.

So why is a pub and a local brewery choosing to raise money for charity? ‘We celebrated our 10th anniversary during lockdown.’ said Martin Guy owner of the Canterbury Ales. ‘Instead of the big celebration we’d planned we decided to try and raise some money for charity and enlisted the help of the pub who had the first casks we ever sold, the Unicorn Inn at St Dunstan’s in Canterbury.’

The proceeds from the Wife of Bath’s Ale will be donated to 21 Together. The charity works with the Downs Syndrome Community in Kent to help its users reach their full potential. The Unicorn is putting on a BBQ with live music from the Quiet Americans on 14th August from 12-8pm.
