Celebrating 70 Years at Brogdale Farm

Over 2,000 different varieties of apples, 500 pears, 300 plums, 300 cherries, nuts and vines are grown here in 150 acres of beautiful orchards.

The objectives of the Collections are to act as:

• A ‘gene bank’ conserving the biodiversity of fruit
• A source of plant material for propagation, research, and breeding
• A living reference library of ‘heritage’ fruit varieties

Brogdale Collections are responsible for public access to, and education about the collections.
