Christmas at Spadework

Anyone who has visited Spadework will know it has a wonderful atmosphere all-year-round. However, In December the Charity becomes even more exciting! Their service users (trainees) are busy selling superb Nordmann Christmas Trees, wreaths, holly and mistletoe in the Garden Centre, as well as helping to prepare amazing Christmas lunches in the Cafe. They also make bespoke hampers, and take Christmas orders for Appledore free-range turkeys, meat, fish and fresh local fruit and vegetables, in the Farm Shop. Everyone is also getting ready for the Christmas Market, on Saturday December 8^th, which this year will have over 40 stalls! Spadework has already provided work-based training, care and support for over 100 adults with learning and other disabilities in 2018, and with your support, hopes to increase that number next year. Spadework is not only a much loved, award winning, local charity, they also offer a range of really great products, along with some of the friendliest service you’re ever likely to experience.
