Christmas is an exciting time at Spadework. Our Trainees start singing Christmas songs as soon as the Christmas Trees arrive, and continue doing so until the big day itself. Our Nordmann Fir trees have excellent needle retention and are available in sizes ranging from 4ft to over 8ft. We will unwrap them so you can give them the once-over and then re-net them for you to take home. Alternatively, we can deliver them locally for a small charge, so there’s no need to drive home with pine needles poking in your eye, unless you enjoy the challenge!
Our Christmas Market is a two day event this year, on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December, from 10 am till 3 pm. Father Christmas will be in his grotto both days and we’ll have over fifty craft, art and food stalls, plus live music from, among others, the Tunbridge Wells Ukulele Night Thing, and a 50 strong Rock Choir. You’ll also find a licensed bar and barbecue and The Food Shed Cafe will be serving hot food and drink all day.
Our Farms Shop is now fully stocked with Kentish food and drink, including a great selection of craft gins and other spirits, beers from several Kent breweries along with biscuits, chocolate, home-made preserves and lots more besides. There’s still plenty of time to place your Christmas order. Whether it be for an Appledore goose, or free range bronze turkey, Glovers sausages and bacon, or home grown parsnips and Brussels sprouts. So buy your Christmas food from Spadework. You’ll avoid the stress of the seasonal supermarket crush and enjoy the feel-good factor of supporting a great local charity.
