The Christmas countdown begins at Kent Turkeys

Although with our prolonged heatwave, Christmas is the last thing on anyone’s minds… here at Kent Turkeys the Christmas countdown has started with the arrival of our KellyBronze Turkeys & Norfolk Geese. The poults arrive with us at just a few hours old in June and are housed inside under heat for a couple of weeks before being moved outside to our tunnels and to roam free range across our pastures. All of our turkeys & geese are born in their natural season, and are slow growing, which means they grow to maturity over the months leading up to December. Coupling this with a natural diet and allowing them to range freely, means that they develop a well marbled meat which all adds to the flavour.
