Cocktail in a Bottle win Gold!

Cocktail in A Bottle, based in Deal, is very pleased to announce that ‘Cake or Death’ has taken Gold at The World Pre-Mix Awards this year for the World’s Best Contemporary cocktail.

The bottled cocktail was inspired by the comedy of Eddie Izzard and Black Forest Gateaux!

Here’s what one of the judges said:

“Dense notes of berry and chocolate on the nose. Rich and full on the palate, chocolate gives a fantastic weight and there are notes of cream as well as kirsch and morello cherry. Prominent sweet notes with hints of chocolate and black cherry followed by cocoa beans and well-balanced tartness. Creamy character with rich chocolate cake finish. So much flavour and character!”
