Sam Day is Kent Beekeepers' Asian hornet action team coordinator. While concern for her honeybees sparked an initial interest in the invasive Asian hornet, since learning more about them, it is the likely damage they will cause to other native pollinators, fruit and crop production and also the risk to human health that is more worrying now. Learn about the lifecycle of the hornets, where you're likely to see them – and what you should do when you do see one.
