The Corner House at Home has proven a hit since it launched last month. The takeaway meals, which feature many of the restaurants’ most popular dishes have received five star reviews on Tripadvisor with one restaurant regular headlining their review: “This is no normal takeaway” and praising the innovation, idiot proof instructions and quality of the food. Says chef owner, Matt Sworder: “The impact of lockdown on hospitality has obviously been devastating and we’ve had to look for new opportunities as they arise. Of course we’d love to see everyone back in the restaurants but our At Home service is for those who don’t yet feel comfortable dining out. It’s been fantastic to receive such great reviews, grateful messages and photos of our guests cooking along to the clips we’ve recorded to help them reheat the meals to perfection.” The Corner House at Home meals can be collected 48 hours after ordering with a ‘Click and Collect’ service available from either restaurant seven days a week.
