Dockyard Jam Factory Shines at the Great Taste Awards

The judges comments really blew us away

“We liked the thick berried appearance of this juicy jam. It wasn't overly sweet and had a great sharp tartness from the berries with really well-judged spices that bring out the berry flavours rather than dominate them, with back-notes of cloves and cinnamon and allspice, very reminiscent of winter festivities. Very more-ish, we loved it, well done.”

“This jam is deep purple in colour, is glossy and is packed full of fruit. We love the fruity, gently-spiced nose. On the palate, this jam is is incredibly vibrant and tangy. The berry explosion is balanced by a well-judged amount of spices. The texture is also pleasing. This jam feels home-made and very much loved by the producer.”

“Big chunks of fruit are obvious. Smells of Christmas. Not too jammy that it wouldn't work on a cheeseboard or stirred into a venison sauce - very versatile. The fruit is the star of the show,”

This added to the Great Taste Awards we won in 2021 for our Raspberry Jam and our Seville Orange marmalade. The Winter Preserve is seasonal and will be back in October but the rest of our jams and marmalades are available all year round.
