Early Harvest at Morghew Park Estate

For us, our arable harvest started early but we were rained off more than once. Thankfully some summer weather returned, and our harvest was back on track.

Harvest is the most exciting time on the farm and each year we dust off our combines and they become the centre of attention harvesting our wheat crops, oil seed rape and more. As soon as the fields are harvested, other farmers arrive to bale up the straw, taking this back to their own farms. If you are visiting the farm, the honesty stall, or walking through the footpaths whilst our harvests are taking place, please keep an eye out for the extra traffic and large machinery using the farm tracks.
