Farm Expo returns for 2020

FARM EXPO RETURNS FOR 2020 AFTER SUCCESSFUL FIRST YEAR Kent’s newest agricultural trade show, Farm Expo, returns for 2020 after a successful first event earlier this year. Farm Expo made its debut in March 2019 and will be returning on 4 March 2020 at the Kent Showground. The 2019 show had over 100 trade stands representing 130 national and international brands. The headline seminar welcomed the NFU’s Director of EU Exit and International Trade, Nick von Westenholz, alongside Clive Bailye and Stephen Carr to discuss Brexit, the Agricultural Bill and the future of farming in the UK. The Kent County Agricultural Society team behind Farm Expo are looking to build on the success of 2019 by expanding the number of trade stands and broadening the event’s reach to include more areas of the industry. The headline seminar is set to again look at a major issue facing the agricultural industry with national names expected to appear on the panel. Chairman of the Society, James Forknall, said: “We were really pleased with how well the first Farm Expo went. We welcomed over 2,500 visitors to the show and enjoyed standing room only in our headline seminar. We’re now looking to make the 2020 Farm Expo even bigger and better.” Organised by charity, the Kent County Agricultural Society, Farm Expo offers the latest developments, technology and equipment for the agricultural industry and is a chance for visitors to see and discuss these first-hand. Farm Expo is currently accepting applications to trade and visitor registration is now open. Visit the website to find out more and register your interest. www.kentshowground.co.uk/farmexpo
