Produced in Kent Intern seeks part time position in food & drink industry

Lukasz describes himself as: 'A highly motivated, dynamic individual, who is in his fourth year of studies at the University of Kent specialised in Business and Marketing. Having just finished a year in industry at Produced in Kent, I am looking for a part-time role that focuses on marketing and admin support to complete alongside my studies to further my knowledge and to gain more experience within the field. I consider myself to be a hardworking individual, which can be reflected upon by my grades and previous professional experiences. From my experience with Produced in Kent in the past year, I have had the opportunity to understand the food and drink market in Kent through the eyes of growers, producers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, pubs, restaurants, and other food-serving hospitality outlets.

Some of the responsibilities I have had at Produced in Kent have given me an exceptional foundation to build upon and apply myself in another role. During my year in industry, I have been trusted to:

• Identify/recruit membership leads through various communication methods
• Maintain a website and add content regularly
• Run Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn social media channels
• Negotiate membership contract renewals with businesses and industry partners
• Organise member events monthly (booking venues, issuing invites, set up + clear up, networking)
• General admin and resolving any member queries
