Frasers announces Valentine's Day special dining experience ... plus a new ‘At Home’ dining option with a difference!

As February approaches and thoughts turn to how best to express our love for our partner in the build-up to Valentine's Day, chic Kent eco venue Frasers is offering a special sharing dinner for two and introducing a novel alternative that is sure to surprise and impress your beau.

The award-winning restaurant in Egerton, Kent will be serving a sumptuous meal for two to share, all set in the intimate and romantically dressed Oak Barn. With the tempting delight of a Fillet of Beef or Vegetable Wellington centre piece followed by a Chocolate Orange Bomb on offer, and the option to swap the dessert for a cocktail, Valentine diners will be on cloud nine sampling the sustainably sourced quality cuisine.

The 4-course Valentine's Day menu is available in the restaurant from 14th to 18th February 2023 and is priced at £130 per couple, with a £20 deposit being payable on booking. To reserve a table visit https://frasersegerton.co.uk/eat.

Launching this year, Frasers’ kitchen is also preparing a very special ‘At Home’ Valentine's Meal for couples to enjoy in the comfort of their own home. Designed to bring the top-quality Frasers' restaurant experience to you, the meal for two will be lovingly prepared and come complete with easy to follow reheating instructions, ready for even the most novice cook to follow. The luxurious menu comprises a smoked salmon and prawn terrine starter, followed by a main course of fillet of Beef Wellington accompanied by dauphinoise potatoes, cauliflower cheese, honey and cumin carrots and red wine sauce, which is gloriously finished off by a delicious sticky toffee pudding with 'Hinxden Farm Dairy' cream.

Priced at £80 and serving two, orders for the ‘At Home’ Valentine’s Meal need to be placed by 8th February via the Click and Collect link and will be ready for pick-up at Frasers from Tuesday 14th to Saturday 18th inclusive. Freshly cooked and ready to simply be put in the oven, the meal can be refrigerated and served the following day or stored in the freezer, ready for defrosting prior to cooking.

Lisa Fraser, who owns and manages Frasers says, "Valentine's Day is always a popular time to do something extra special to treat someone you love. We always love welcoming couples to celebrate in the restaurant but this year we wanted to also offer something different, particularly as the cost of living is making it more difficult for some to justify a night out. Also, for many, it can be a little daunting having to prepare a meal from scratch, which is why we will be offering the option for you to bring the restaurant experience to your home.

“We've chosen a menu that will impress but is easy to pull together with minimal effort, while still providing a luxury experience. It will be a wonderful way to surprise someone you love. We will even be giving advice and ideas on our social platforms in February on how to dress the table to make it look romantic. Whether you decide to own up or not is entirely your decision but I suspect a few may opt to pass it off as all their own work, and why wouldn’t you? No one need know you’ve had a little help!"
