The Fudge Kitchen 35th birthday bash was a lovely occasion last week at The Secret Garden in Ashford. It proved to be a lovely confluence of Kentish speciality producers.
From left to right, including the Fudge Kitchen products which they partnered on where relevant, are:
Stuart Gray - Curd and Cure
Louisa and Phil Johnson - Debonair Tea Company (Afternoon Tea Fudge Selection)
Sally Newall - Simply ice cream (Peanut Brittle ice cream)
Sian Holt - MD Fudge Kitchen
Laura Bounds - Kent Crisps
Julian Barnes - Biddenden Vineyards (Mixology Fudge selection)
Jill Sargent - Produced in Kent
Stephanie Durling - Produced in Kent
Said MD Sian Holt, “It was a real pleasure to celebrate 35 years of fudge ingenuity with so many of our loyal friends, customers, suppliers and members of the Kentish speciality producer community; many of whose amazing products and ingredients we have used in our products. The afternoon not only gave us an opportunity to thank them all for their support over the years and to raise a glass to continued mutual success in the future, but to genuinely marvel at the range of incredible artisans that Kent uniquely harbours. So much innovation, such outstanding quality and so much vision all in one county! At Fudge Kitchen, we look forward to another 35 years of continuing this Kentish tradition.”
