Shepherd Neame is launching new event Live and Unlocked

17th August 2021

Get live & unlocked with Shepherd Neame

Enjoy a weekend of fantastic music, food and drink at new Shepherd Neame event Live and Unlocked!

It is taking place in Shepherd Neame’s Faversham pubs from Friday, September 3 to Sunday, September 5, normally the weekend when the town celebrates the hop harvest with its annual Hop Festival. As this year’s event has been cancelled due to the impact of the Covid crisis, the Faversham-based brewer and pub operator – a major sponsor of the Hop Festival - decided to support its pubs and local musicians by organising an alternative.

Shepherd Neame pubs taking part include the Anchor Inn, The Limes, The Bull Inn, The Bear Inn, The Market Inn and The Railway Hotel, and there will be a roster of fantastic live music to enjoy in the venues and their gardens.

Late Red, Shepherd Neame’s signature autumn ale, will also be hitting the bars in time for the festival.

Shepherd Neame’s Pub Marketing Manager Caroline Williams said: “It is the second year that Faversham has been unable to hold its famous Hop Festival due to the impact of Covid, so we wanted to do something to support the town. We hope that people will come along, support their favourite Faversham pubs and enjoy a seasonal pint. We look forward to welcoming some familiar faces.”
