Good News from Chartham Vineyard

A new season begins: sap is rising, buds are bursting- and frost is threatening! Time to keep alleyway grass short, under-vine area free of weeds and open out gaps in hedge line to allow cold air to drain down slopes into valley bottom. Fingers crossed.

We are delighted to announce that our white wines from the 2021 harvest are home! We are really pleased with Pinot Gris 2021 (maybe our best yet) and the Bacchus 2021 is a lively example of Bacchus, full of vibrant aromatics and floral notes. This means that we have good supplies of all our wines, red, white and sparkling available in our shop which is open every Saturday 10.30 until 5.00 and our online shop. Come and see us. Bookable tours and tastings every Saturday at 11.00 and 2.00.

Amazing Art at the Vineyard Gallery. Peter Livesey is regularly commissioned by Canterbury Cathedral and has exhibited in national collections such as the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours. His work is in private collections around the world. Free entry.

The Roaming Cinema Returns this summer with viewings in the old barn throughout the summer (see theroamingcinema.co.uk/upcoming-events.)
