Gusbourne is awarded World Champion at The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Champions Awards
Gusbourne crowned World Champion Classic Brut Vintage for their Brut Reserve 2018. Pitted against the likes of Louis Roederer they have continued to achieve award winning status for their crop of English wines.
The Brut Reserve 2018 was also awarded Best in Class English Vintage Brut and their Blanc de Blancs 2018 won Best in Class English Blanc de Blancs as well as Rosé 2018 winning Best in Class English Rosé, a real coup for the vineyard.
Charlie Holland, CEO of Gusbourne and Head Winemaker says, "These awards are a great testament to the excellent work of our whole team in producing world class sparkling wines. We are so proud of the wines we are producing and to be recognised as World Champion is a very special honour. It's been a fantastic year for Gusbourne, with an excellent harvest recently concluded, and we are looking forward to crafting our 2023 vintages."
