Heritage Transport Show grows again for 2019

The Heritage Transport Show has broken its 2018 record with over 900 vintage vehicles confirmed to attend the Show at the Kent Showground on 6 April 2019. The Heritage Transport Show celebrates the changing face of transport over the last century and will have on display a record collection of classic cars, commercial and military vehicles, steam engines, motorcycles, tractors, buses, and coaches. The Show is also attempting to break the record for the largest gathering of Fordson Model N’s to celebrate the tractor’s 90th anniversary. Show organiser, Amy Marsh, said: “We’re so pleased to have so many vintage vehicles booked in to exhibit at the Heritage Transport Show this year, it’s really exciting to see the Show grow year on year so there’s always something new for our visitors. Alongside our new exhibits, we’ll also have new displays from the Southern Mini Owners Club, the London Vintage Taxi Association, Fiat 500 Club, and SelKent Mini Club as well as our returning favourites.” The Show will also feature trade and autojumble stands, a vintage tea room, Victorian children’s ride, Morris dancing, and performances from a local ukulele group. The South East Bus Festival joins the Show for its 10th year running and brings displays of vintage and modern buses, guest speakers, trade stands and free bus rides around the Showground. Whether a vintage vehicle enthusiast or a casual visitor, the Heritage Transport Show has something for everyone.
