Improving our Environmental Impact and Sustainability at Communigrow

Communigrow is delighted to announce that last month solar panels were installed on the log cabin roof.

Communigrow was part of the Government Funded Lo-Carb Kent initiative, which was managed by Growing Kent & Medway, aiming at helping food producers to lower their carbon footprint across the county.

As a result of an action plan towards net zero emissions the charity was granted funding to buy an ‘off-grid solar panel kit’. The solar panels will help to reduce environmental impact and allow to boil a kettle, charge laptops/phones and battery-powered DIY tools.
