Flo caught up with James to find out about his photography

Why are you keen to work with Pink in particular?

Being a food lover first and foremost, the members of PinK have long supplied me with lots of delicious and of course local goodies, now as a dedicated food photographer I would love to work with them to promote their products to a wider audience.

Pink members are currently faced with many challenges: no physical events to meet customers and buyers, lost B2B trade, a second lockdowns, a potential hard Brexit – how important is a good visual representation of your product in this volatile economic climate?

It has never been more important to be able to show your products in a positive light, images need to sell the product and your story. As producers far and wide look to move sales online the amount of small artisan producers available to the consumer is ever growing, great imagery will help you not only keep selling to your existing customers, but bring in new ones too.

What positives have come out of the Covid crisis that you feel our members, with your support, can build on going forward?

I have seen so many great businesses diversifying in such creative ways, but one thing links all of them - the need to get the message out there, and as we know a picture speaks louder than words!
