Hi, I’m Rachael, the chef and preserving enthusiast behind Miam Jars.
I’m originally from New Zealand and after a number of years in London have recently moved to Whitstable. I launched Miam Jars in April 2023 and prior to this was working as a chef in some of the top rated restaurants in London.
Miam
Jars are a range of plant based, small batch, artisanal pickles, sauces and
preserves. With a focus on flavour, fruit and vegetables you can see and no
added nasties, I’m on a mission to make a more plant-focused diet easy,
delicious and appealing to all.
I
am excited to now be based in Kent and to make the most of what the garden of
England has to offer. In addition to expanding the core range, the goal for
2024 is to develop limited edition specials to promote the local produce on
offer. I would love to connect with growers to know what’s available for
product development.
