14th May 2025
During the summer months, it is time to enjoy our Secret Garden, facing south with large umbrellas – the perfect setting for a relaxed afternoon with great wines and company.
While away an afternoon or evening sipping a cold glass of Chapel Down Touch of Sparkling or a cold pint of Pale Ale from The Gun Brewery in Sussex, whilst enjoying the ambience in this lovely south-facing walled garden.
Pop in and enjoy some Jazz… with the Ellie Babies.
For those who wish, order a hamper to share whilst enjoying the music – do so either before you arrive and/or when you pop in that day.
Come and enjoy this very eclectic trio called The Stings.

A trio based in Tenterden, with a multitude of instruments: violin, guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, melodian, concertina, whistles, mandolin, and voices to entertain you.

Max Skinner: I would like a lifetime spent with an irrational and suspicious goddess, some short-tempered jealousy on the side, and a bottle of wine that tastes like you, a glass that's never empty.
22nd May: The King's Speech
A 2010 period drama based on the true story of King George VI's journey to overcome a speech impediment before taking the throne in 1936. Carefully crafted, character-driven, and beautifully scripted.

Quote of the Movie:
I'm like the dumb girl that doesn't get it. I've never been the dumb girl before.
Let's just calm down. I had these plans before I even met you.
